Moonstone Ring - Custom Sizing
My Mom said that every girl should have a diamond ring on her 13th birthday. Unfortunately I could not do that. She will be 16 on Dec 1st and I feel like I one upped my Mom. Alissa made (quite possible the smallest) ring for my daughter with that gorgeous Moonstone in the middle. Evie refuses to take it off - she loves it that much. The fact that the ring was MADE for her, and, more specifically, by Alissa, has made her the happiest 15 year old ever! She has always been fascinated by my large (and will continue to grow) collection of Alissataylordesigns jewelry, and this ring meant more to me than she will ever know...and I truly believe that this handmade ring made specifically for her makes her feel SO special. My daughter and I got our ears pierced (hers for the first time), and I told her that she could pick the spot on my ear to get pierced since she was a little scared and wanted to see my reaction. So she chose my cartilage. One side pointed the correct way. One side pointed up. But bc THAT spot was where she wanted it, I would never let it grow in and get it re-pierced. Enter Alissataylordesigns for the rescue! These Textured Bar Earrings completely cover up the mistake and I receive so many compliments about how something as simple as a Textured Bar Earrings could look so 'cool' (that's what the younger kids say) and be so different than the 'normal' cartilage piercing earring. It is stunning in its simplicity, yet I find myself running my fingers over the textures all of the time. Beautiful work!!!
